Ingredients

Spaghetti
  • 1 pound dry spaghetti
  • 5 tablespoons Country Crock® Original Spread Original Spread
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley (or 3/4 teaspoon dried parsley)
Cheesy Garlic Toasts
  • 4 slices bread of choice
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Country Crock® Original Spread Original Spread
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • pinch of salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley (or 3/4 teaspoon dried parsley)
  • 5 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente or according to the package.
  3. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the Country Crock® Original Spread, minced garlic, parsley and salt and pepper, and mix until smooth.
  5. Spread the Country Crock® Original Spread and garlic mixture evenly on each slice of bread.
  6. In a small bowl combine the Parmesan and Mozzarella, then sprinkle evenly on top of each slice.
  7. Place the bread slices on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for roughly 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown on the edges. Remove from the oven, slice then serve.
  8. Add the Country Crock® and onion to a large saucepan. Sauté on low for 2-3 minutes then add the marinara sauce, a tablespoon of pasta water and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine and simmer until heated through.
  9. Drain the spaghetti and toss in marinara sauce. Top generously with parmesan and parsley to garnish.
  10. Enjoy!
