The first major distinction between Country Crock® spreads and dairy butter is found in the ingredients, themselves. Our spreads are meticulously crafted with plant-based oils, whereas dairy butter is derived from cow's milk. As a result, Country Crock® spreads have a lower saturated fat content per serving compared to dairy butter. Depending on the specific product, Country Crock® sticks and tubs typically contain between 1g and 5g of saturated fat per tablespoon, while butter contains 7g of saturated fat per tablespoon.

Is Country Crock® considered to be margarine?
